On a Saturday afternoon, the SJFC first team stepped onto the horrific away pitch. Stanmore were slacking for the first 10 minutes of the game and ended up conceding a goal from a ball over the top.

In response, Amirali found himself at the right time and place to score a well placed goal. The opposition then scored. However, it seemed Amirali had an answer to everything as he once again found himself at the right time and place to score another beautifully placed goal.

The opposition then managed to score again. Following that, an amazing cross from kumayl merali found its way to Yaseen who slotted it in the bottom corner from 10 yards.

Then something spectacular happened. Rattansi picked up the ball in the final third and decided to whip it into the left corner from outside the box. The crowd went wild. A few minutes after that screamer, Yaseen found himself in a 1 v 1 situation and finished it excellently.

Once again the opposition scored to make 5-4. A free kick was swung in by Mahdi to find Hussein Ramzan in the box who showed composure and scored in excellent fashion. Hussein Ramzan is now the joint second top goal scorer for the team with Yaseen.

With a 6-4 lead and 5 mins to go, Stanmore expected to see the game through, however after a few lapses in concentration, we ended up conceding 2 goals.  Overall, the coach said we need to improve our game management.
