MAMT 2017 review

Salamun Alaikum

Represented by 130 players participating across the 5 tiers SJFA squads were lined up in Saturday’s MAMT football tournament, duly managed by our coaches and passionately  supported by the parents. Our players were full of energy representing the RedBlackWhite troops, fighting away in every game aiming to achieve the best possible results. As we were walking back and forth from one pitch to the other trying to keep abreast of the results, we could witness a full range of expressions across the spectrum as expected on a tournament day. Each pitch was filled with drama and excitement sending the butterflies all the way to the pitch gate. Whilst the atmosphere is always a roller coaster ride filled with emotions, the level of akhlaq was maintained across our teams something which we should acknowledge before any result.

MAMT 2017 will be remembered for being the most successful year in the football category for Stanmore. SJFA has come home with a handful of trophies:-

Under 7’s – Premiership Winners/Plate Runners up
Under 9’s – Premiership Winners
Under 12’s – Premiership Winners
Under 15’s – Premiership Winners/Runners up

A big congratulations to all those involved; including all the boys who participated, the parents who support us throughout the year, the coaches for their continuous commitment, the corporate partners who support us and the Boards of both Stanmore Jafferys and Hujjat for their support, trust, belief and encouragement.

Match reports for each age group can be found as follows:
