With only 8 days to go to the largest SJ tournament, the countdown and excitement surrounding the SJFA 2019 Salaam Cup has truly started.
103 teams representing 25 clubs covering 850 + players with 100+ officials are expected to march into the Harefield Academy on Saturday, 22 June.
The coaches have burned the midnight oil finalizing the squad selections for Salaam Cup.
The squads can now be found here. The tournament portal with full details will follow shortly.
On the day, all SJFA players will be required to wear the full official SJFA kit. Spare kits will not be available on the day. Please also ensure the boys have their shin pads and/or goalkeeper gloves which will be checked by the coaches.
All medication (inhalers etc.) will need to be clearly labelled and handed to the coach(S) before the fixtures start. If the players medication is not handed in, they will not be allowed to participate in the tournament
We would like YOU ALL to once again embark with us on this journey as ONE TEAM & ONE COMMUNITY. Bring your families, children, parents, grandparents – sharing the harmony and unity with our neighbouring communities.
Over the next 15 days we will share our activation plan leading up to the event. This includes the entertainment; FA Cup and the freestyler. There are also fun filled games for everyone. It goes without saying we will also have finger licking delicacies and desserts that will be on offer on the day – WATCH THIS SPACE.
Best of luck to all the SJFA teams and coaches!
