Salaam Cup Update

How time flies with only two weeks left before we kick off once again with our award winning 4th edition of the Salaam Cup on 22 June at Harefield Academy.

This year the numbers on the day are even bigger:-

  • 104 teams registered to play of which 80 are external teams
  • 23 participating clubs nationally and from various communities
  • 24 SJFA teams covering 190 boys
  • 850 participants on the day
  • 2,500 visitors on the day

The SJFA DNA of FAITH, COMMUNITY and RESPECT will be the foundation of how we manage the club and execute the Salaam Cup on the day. Diversity and engagement with our neighbours is as important and the numbers above reflect this. There is no better way to show our neighbours the SJFA and OUR Community DNA by hosting. There is no better host than our renowned Salaamteers!

SJFA would like to thank our Salaamteers for giving up their valuable time, energy and smiles for our visitors on the day. They are a wonderful group who have provided SJFA invaluable support over the years. Our volunteers epitomise the definition of volunteering and what makes this community a success.

Over the next 15 days we will share our activation plan leading up to the event. This includes the entertainment; FA Cup and the freestyler. There are also fun filled games for everyone. It goes without saying we will also have finger licking delicacies and desserts that will be on offer on the day – WATCH THIS SPACE.

With Salaams and Duas
