During the 2017/2018 season SJFA are partnering with Sufra NW London.
The SJFA boys took a well deserved break during the training this Sunday (7 January) to enjoy their smoothies arranged by Sufra NW London.
The Sufra team made the following smoothies:
Spinach, Peanut Butter and Banana
Pineapple, Mango and Banana
These were specially prepared by Jess, a nutritionist who also delivered a special talk on the importance of a healthy diet for pre and post training.
We thank the Sufra team for the delicious smoothies. We also want to thank the parents for bringing in their groceries for the food bank.
Sufra NW London collects and distributes over 50 tonnes of non-perishable food to nearly 4,000 people in absolute crisis. These include a wide range of beneficiaries such as the mentally unwell, the disabled, carers, the unemployed, the elderly and low-income families affected by poverty. The Food Bank, which relies entirely on donations from the public, is the culmination of extensive partnerships with local charities, corporate sponsors, faith communities and youth organisations, which together ensure that no one in our community should ever go hungry.
We hope the boys enjoyed the occasion and thank you all for your support on the day.
