
SJFA Mental Health Seminar – 18 February
Several sports organisations have joined the campaign to increase understanding of mental health and wellbeing issues experienced by high-performance sports people.
The hurdles athletes face during and after their sporting careers such as recovering from injury, a lack of identity outside sport and transitioning into the ‘real world’ are being identified as key challenges that could potentially cause mental health problems.
Day/Date: Sunday 18th February
Venue: Northwood School – Pinner Rd, Northwood HA6 1QN (Auditorium)
Time: 09.30am – 10.30am
Arrangements have been made for Madressa students of attendees to be supervised by Madressa volunteers. Please bring your children to reception between 9.15am to 9.25am (for a sharp 9.30am start) where you will be met before proceeding to the auditorium.
No parking is permitted inside the Madressa car park.
