SJFA Shortlisted For The Muslim Awards For Excellence 2018

Salaam Alaikum

On behalf of the SJFA “One Team”, I have the honour to inform the community that Stanmore Jafferys Football Academy has been short-listed for The Muslim News Awards for Excellence 2018. The sixteenth award ceremony will be on 23 April.

The aim of these awards is to recognize and celebrate the unsung heroes and heroines of our community or those who have championed community causes. We are honored that the readers of Muslim News were invited to nominate individuals and organisations who have demonstrated excellence in fourteen different categories.

An independent panel of five judges reviewed the nominations and produced a shortlist.

Stanmore Jafferys Football Academy has been shortlisted for the Faezeh Hashemi Award for Excellence in Sport.

The awards will be held in central London attended by VIPs and will include guests from the worlds of public service, business, sport and the arts as well as senior officials from all the UK political parties.

Previous guests of honour have included Prime Ministers Tony Blair; David Cameron and Gordon Brown, The Prince of Wales, Foreign Secretary David Miliband and Archbishop of Westminster, Cardinal Cormac Murphy-OConnor.

The winners will be presented with their awards at the gala evening.
We have reached this stage and a further milestone with the support of the whole community. I am sure we can count on your continuous support on this exciting journey.

We will keep the SJFA Family updated on the outcome of this shortlist.
