AFC Wembley were playing Stanmore Jafferys on 14th January 2017. The kick off was starting at 10:30am.

As the kick off started, the game was extremely tight, but very interesting. Both the teams had a lot of energy and were battling for the first goal. As one of the players from the opposing teams had made a mind blowing through ball, AFC Wembley had scored.

Just after a while they had scored another goal due to SJ defending. A while after battling for the ball, SJ had scored a chance to get themselves back into the game. They had scored an impeccable goal!!

In the second half of the game, SJ had started conceding goals due to the lack of defence. As time went on, an AFC Wembley player had tackled one of SJ players from the back which in my opinion, is completely unacceptable.

SJ had conceded another goal but this time it was an own goal. After a few minutes SJ had got a free kick inside the box. As one of the SJ players rolled it to another player, he smashed the ball into the back of the net.
SJ started getting tired and had conceded another goal. At this point, the score was 7-2 to AFC Wembley. The pitch was not in its best conditions and neither was the weather, as it had started raining.

Nevertheless, SJ were ready to at least play some good football which is exactly what they did. They were playing some amazing football but just couldn’t find the back of the net!

AFC Wembley had sealed the win with an 8-2 defeat, but nevertheless SJ had played very well.

Overall, I personally think that SJFA U13 had played great football as it was their first 11 a side match.

Well done SJ!
