We arrived at Parmiters school with only 5 players and no subs. We knew because of this we would have to work extra hard just to stay In the game.
Our first game did not start off great with us conceding 5 goals within the first half. We played the strongest futsal team who had won all their previous matches over the past months. We all worked really hard but unfortunately, we could not find the net and the game finished 11-0.
Our next game turned out much better with all of us putting in a shift despite the tired legs. The opposition took the lead towards the end of the first half however we pulled it back to 1-1 at half time. This tie was held for most of the match until the effects of having no substitutions took its toll and the game ended 1-4.

Coaches review:
Every player gave a 100% effort in both games but the results just did not go our way. The other teams all came well prepared with squads of 9+ players each. It is very disappointing to see a lack of interest in competitive matches from tier 6 especially as we have such a large pool of players and only 5 players signed up. Not only do we have the resources but the talent too, let’s realise our potential in future games.
