As you may have seen, Stanmore Jafferys Racket Sports (SJRS) has announced an SJRS tournament for gents and youth in May. The registration is now open for the inaugural SJRS Championships. Please see registration link and full event details below. Please register soon as places for each category are limited.
All children (ages 7-16) can take part in all 3 racket sports events (tennis, badminton and table tennis). Boys of all abilities are encouraged to participate and there will be coaches at hand to help them along and offer them tips. They will be grouped together with boys of the same level. This is a great opportunity for the kids to try out all the racket sports in one venue over one weekend. Coach Richard Sutton, a favourite of the boys, will be there for the kids tennis event. There will also be a free introduction to squash session with Mahdi Ali, a professional squash coach. All kids taking part will be given a rackets memento to take away.
There is an adults event taking place concurrently so parents of all abilities are encouraged to take part in the Gentlemen’s tennis, badminton, table tennis and squash events.
