The inaugural Community Cup has attracted over 100 participants and will be held on 15 June at the Harefield Academy.
SJFA’s aim for the Community Cup is to bring the community together through the vehicle of the beautiful game. The Community Cup is a tournament for ALL and aligns with the SJFA’s DNA of FAITH, COMMUNITY and RESPECT.
The Community Cup is an opportunity for our vibrant community to get together to play competitive football with different individuals within the community and to increase our brotherhood and community spirit that both Sheikh Nur and Sheikh Ismail encouraged during their lectures.
We have a range of individuals from age 17 to age 50 and of different abilities.

The format will be 7 a side and individuals will be grouped into teams in a “draft” style format. With the aim to have a minimum of 1 Under 18 player and 1 over 35 player (depending on the registrations).
A portal with all details has been set up and will be updated over the next few days with the teams and other arrangements on the day.
