Rain, Sleet or Snow doesn’t matter for the U10s as this week Coach Jamil took the boys outside for a remote training session on Sunday.
The weather was bitter and sleet was falling but that didn’t stop our brave U10 Eagles and Bears from getting into their gardens braving the elements and training and playing as they would do on a normal match weekend.
This week the boys started with some simple left foot right foot toe tips and stretching to warm up, followed by a jog and sprint around the gardens to warm up.
This was followed by a passing drill with fathers and siblings joining in on the action. Next was a round of dribbling with one foot then the other and then both feet, keeping everyone warmed up as the snow began to settle and the fingers became numb.
To finish off a shooting practice from different sides and using different feet capped of a great practice.
The boys showing fantastic commitment and strength in this weather to keep up the practice and show that they are eager to get back to football as soon as possible.
